This sketch had gone through several idea changes 1. originally the idea was she's using her right hand to shield her eyes/face (from the sun perhaps), and her body is longer (the tip of her right feet touches the tree leaves in the middle). ...then I thought body looks more like toodler, not like a "chibi style" (I've been trying to try other chibi style, away from my usual ), so I shorten and make it smaller (tip of feet on the start of her current boots now), but still not satisfy, hence the current form. but because of the shorter body, the hand naturally becomes shorter as well, thus can not do the intended pose. Then I find myself happy with overall pose, but not sure what to do with her right hand XD.
2. After several attempts, an idea struck me, what if she's a pirate, holding a treasure box (i've come up with whole scene as well, she's running on the beach, on her left stands a coconut tree, on a curve, been blown by wind, and you can see a cave, tiny, seen from afar, on her right, further back). I thought, that solved the "right hand pose" problem. But when I actually sketched it in, because of the short hand, the treasure box didn't look convincing, a tad small too. So then I rummaged my brain for another idea.
3. I was just sketching the right hand without any real purpose/idea, then randomly, I drew the bag, and I thought, hm... that's not too bad, let's go with this. But what to do with the bag, it's just so random. Then I thought "money bag" and was actually gonna go with this (with $ symbol on it ). ... left it for the day/sleep. Next I picked up my pencil again, I actually forgot about the money bag idea (had short term memory loss), instead, I played with the 'santa claus' idea. The santa got knocked out, laying on his back on top of a roof (on a tiny house). Upon sketching him in, I found that 'laying on his back' not possible, because the house is tiny (looking from afar), santa should be tiny-er = can't see it clearly. So I just roughly sketch him got knocked out, him againts chimney. Played with him more, and this whole sketch is the result of it (sorry santa )
And originally the idea was that she's standing with her body on a curve like (the body I think fits with the original idea: "facing the sun/sky, one hand shielding her eyes) (both feet on the ground), but playing around with the body "flow" resulting this final pose ('running' like feel)
Note: yeah, I know, her expression is not naughty enough
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
